Carlson Software 2009 Release

Carlson Software announced this week the coming release of their product line for 2009. So far what I have seen is impressive and we are looking forward to this release as yet another solid version that has more than just a bunch of bells and whistles you will never use. One of the biggest changes in the 2009 line of products is the IntelliCAD engine option. There will still be a version to run on top of AutoCAD and one with the AutoCAD Engine, but there is also an option for IntelliCAD. Another noticable change is on the price for the 2009 Survey with the AutoCAD engine which will be going up roughly another $700. We have done limited testing with the IntelliCAD version and are waiting for the final release before making any decisions on how CDS will proceed with that version.
