Altus Positioning Systems announces further enhancements for the internal radio compatibility of the APS-3 making it the most universal GNSS rover. In addition to the real time network connectivity via the internal GSM/GPRS modem, the APS-3 is now compatible with the bases utilizing the following protocols:

TrimTalk, Pacific Crest PDL , Satel (with PDL compatibility), ArWest

The continued communications innovation with the APS-3 feature set allows users the flexibility to add rovers to a larger number of existing base/reference broadcasts for a lower cost of expansion, and a greater ease of operation.   This enables the APS-3 rover to work with bases from Trimble, Topcon, Leica and most other popular equipment brands with standard broadcast formats.
