Carlson Desktop Solutions, LLC (CDS) ships all packages UPS ground unless otherwise agreed upon at the time the order is placed.  All on-line orders will ship UPS GROUND within 48 hours of the order being placed.  All on-line orders will have a flat Shipping and Handling  fee assigned at the time of purchase.  We must have correct address information for shipping which does not include Post Office boxes.  We do not guarantee the arrival time of packages ordered on-line.

Electronic information privacy protection is crucial for the ongoing success of the Internet as a convenient means to provide customer service.

CDS is committed to responsible information handling practices. When you access or use our Web site, you agree to the terms and conditions published here. Please note that the privacy policies or statements of other Web sites linked to the CDS website may differ. CDS is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

CDS has a responsibility to protect our computing resources. If we believe an attempt is being made through the Internet to break into or otherwise abuse our computer systems or business information, we will use the information in our computer logs, and other means available, to determine those responsible. As part of these legal efforts, we may share the information we gather with law enforcement agencies or other authorized entities.
Limitation of Liability
While CDS makes every attempt to ensure the information provided is reliable, human or mechanical error remains a possibility. Therefore, CDS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or correct sequencing of information, and will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the use of results obtained from the use of the information. This applies to any Web sites linked to and from the CDS Web site.

In no event shall CDS, it’s directors, officers, employees, affiliates, successors, or other representatives be liable, whether in contract, warranty, tort, product liability, strict liability or other theory, to you or any other person for any damages (including, without limitation, any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages) arising out of or in connection with any use of, inability to use, or result of use of, this website or any content on this website, even if CDS or its Representatives has been advised of the possibility of such damages.  If you are dissatisfied with this website and the content thereon, or the terms and conditions, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue use of this website.  
Refund Policy
Some software products offered by CDS are available for a 30-day evaluation. Customers are encouraged to fully evaluate the software prior to purchasing a software license. During installation of the products offered you are given an End User License Agreement (referred to going forward as EULA) which governs each program independently.  BY CLICKING THE ''I ACCEPT'' BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PROCEEDING TO USE THE SOFTWARE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LICENSE AGREEMENT (''AGREEMENT''). IF YOU ARE ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, ALL REFERENCES TO ''YOU'' OR ''YOUR'' OR “CUSTOMER” IN THIS AGREEMENT SHALL MEAN COLLECTIVELY THE ORGANIZATION AND THE END USER OF THE SOFTWARE.  IN SUCH INSTANCE, BY CLICKING THE [I ACCEPT] BUTTON YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE ORGANIZATION, AND THAT THE ORGANIZATION AGREES TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.  IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT, THEN DO NOT ACCESS OR INSTALL THE SOFTWARE AND CLICK THE [I DO NOT ACCEPT] BUTTON TO TERMINATE THE INSTALLATION.  IF YOU CLICK THE [I DO NOT ACCEPT] BUTTON,  THEN YOU WILL BE ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND OF THE LICENSE FEES, IF ANY, THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE, PROVIDED THAT (I) YOU RETURN TO US OR DESTROY ALL COPIES OF THE SOFTWARE, (II) YOU MAKE SUCH REFUND REQUEST BEFORE YOUR INSTALLATION AND FIRST USE OF THE SOFTWARE, AND (III) CDS RECEIVES SUCH REQUEST NO LATER THAN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE DATE THE ORDER FORM IS SIGNED.
Some manufacturer’s add a 15% restocking fee to any returned purchases.  If the program you are returning has a 15% restocking fee that fee will be passed on to you.
Non-Damaged/Defective, Opened Merchandise
We will not accept returns on merchandise that has been opened and is not defective.
Defective Products
If you have received defective merchandise you must contact CDS within 15 days for replacement of defective merchandise with the exact same product. After 15 days, Customer will have to contact the manufacturer directly.

All return products must have an RMA number or the return will be refused at our warehouse.
To receive an RMA:
  • Please contact CDS via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping product back to us. This will expedite and help ensure the proper action or credit upon processing.
  • In order to expedite a return, please have the following information on hand when requesting an RMA number: Customer number, invoice number, serial number, reason for return, action to take (replacement/repair/return/credit) and whether the box has been opened or is manufacturer sealed.
  • Please return all products 100% complete including all original manufacturer boxes with the UPC code and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment. RMA approval is contingent upon, among other things, the products being 100% complete.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping charges to CDS’ distribution center for all products being shipped for return, exchange or replacement. Products exchanged or replaced will be shipped by CDS to Customer, at our expense.
  • Customer is responsible for all risk of loss and damage to products being shipped for return, exchange or replacement. Please fully insure return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery such as UPS or Federal Express. This is for your protection as well as to ensure quick action on your return.
